Kinetic Energy - Sonia's quirk allows her to absorb and store the kinetic energy from hits or attacks in her fat cells and release the accumulated energy at a time of her choosing, either in the form of a blast or by channelling it into her limbs, another person or an object. However there are limits to this; she can only asorb the energy if she is hit directly and can't absorb energy from the surrounding area. And while it absorbs the energy it does not protect her from the damage of the hits, especially if they are bladed weapons. Also there is a limit to how much energy her fat cells can store and if she exceeds that limit her body will start to store the energy in her cartilage and the fluid surrounding her joints which leads to joint pains and lowers her mobility as a result.

Sonia is a short girl with shoulder length pink hair and violet eyes. She has an adorable round face, wide eyes and short hair, but with echoes of finer, more elegant features.Sonia has a full figure, and is slightly on the chubbier side to facilitate her quirk, but not to the point where it impedes her in any way. She also stays on a strict diet and training regime to maintain a constant body fat percentage so that she can have more control over her quirk and is more aware of her limitations. In terms of fashion she tends to favour more feminine outfits and tends to choose clothes with soft pastel colours and floral patterns. However her hero suit is a skintight full body suit; the under layer contains a gel that is designed to absorb the shock of a hit to reduce damage but still allow Sonia to absorb the kinetic energy of any hits that she takes. The outer layer consists of a series of small titanium plates that have been painted black, these sit above the gel layer to protect her from bladed weapons and projectiles. The joints between the the armoured plates are filled in with flexible plastic tubes containing luminous purple liquid to give the suit a nice aesthetic and allow her to retain the maximum flexibility and movement.

Sonia is a kind, empathetic individual. An extrovert to the core, she loves nothing more than surrounding herself with friends and taking care of them, particularly when they're shy or have social difficulties. She enjoys social events and likes to get involved in group activities and pretty much anything fun. However she also gives 100% percent in her studies too and has a work hard, play hard mentality. While she does have some body confidence issues, she is largely confident in her own abilities when it comes to her hero training and studies. She is good at identifying her own strengths and weaknesses and works hard to overcome or compensate for her shortcomings. She can also be mischievous, but she can read the mood quite well and usually tends to reign in the other mischief makers before anything gets out of hand. While her nature is mostly gentle and laid back She can be quite assertive when the need arises . Overall she is forthright but still polite; very much an iron fist in a velvet glove type. In addition to this Sonia is quite competitive by nature and enjoys sparring but can easily become worked up easily because of this. She is also a bit of a sore loser and while she makes an effort to show good sportsmanship she can be a bit sulky for a while after she has been beaten. She also harbours a deep resentment for villains due to what happened with her father and tends to be judgemental of their choices as a result, even if they have valid reasons behind their villainy and is highly sceptical of villain rehabilitation programmes as a result. She is however aware that it is largely due to prejudice on her part and is trying to overcome it.

Her mother, Eva Fujihara, actually met her father Bjorn Svenssen when on her first world tour as a professional hero and idol.Bjorn was the drummer in a Swedish heavy metal band, Draconian & Devine, who was one of the supporting bands in her tour and hit it off with Eva; it was a case of opposites attract for the most part, as the only thing that the two had in common was their love of music.Yet somehow the relationship thrived and it wasn't long before the two got married and, less than a year after their marriage, had Sonia. While the family was never short of money, the two mutually agreed that Eva would put her hero career first and only do national tours in the hopes of providing a more stable upbringing for Sonia. As she grew, Sonia developed close, loving bonds with her parents. For four years the little family thrived and Eva fell pregnant a second time, with a boy this time. But tragedy would strike the family that year; a villain attacked a concert that her parents were performing in and her father tragically died in the attack. After that, Eva quit active hero work and her career as an idol; taking a position teaching at Ketsubutsu. Despite the fact that she was itching to find the villain and bring them to justice, Eva didn't want to risk her life and leave Sonia orphaned. Also at the time she was heavily pregnant and had to come to terms with the fact that she would be raising two children by herself. When her son was born, Eva named him Bjorn Hiro Svenssen after her husband and his second name was the one which they had originally planned to name him, after a friend of the family.Naturally, the death of her father deeply affected Sonia and she did her best to support her mother and help her take care of her little brother, even though she was too little to fully understand or be of much help in the situation. However, once she got older and came to fully understand what had happened, she was also driven to become a hero in her mother's place and bring the villain responsible for her father's death to justice and prevent the same thing from happening to other people.Sonia managed to get into Yuuei's A class and is now in her second year.
